Sir, I passed my 12th with 79.16% marks in science subjects (physics,chemistry,biology) and i wish to become a forensic scientist.what are the courses i should apply and to which universities should i apply? What are the courses i should study and what exams should i write to get admission for my journey? Please add this to you concern and give me detailed information.

Procedure to become a forensic scientist:

Aspirants who wish to become a forensic scientist need to have minimum 2 year specialised training in forensic science or in related courses. In addition to academic qualifications, candidates are required to have professional experience has to occupy good positions in organisations such as CBI and intelligence bureau.

Qualifying exams:

Candidates who is a career in forensic science are required to have a bachelor's degree in forensic science from a recognised University. Undergraduate courses in biochemistry, toxicology and criminal justice form the basic eligibility for a career in forensic science.
Usually recruitment to the post of forensic scientists is done by means of screening test and interview and eligible candidates are required to apply for the exam with relevant documents.

Basic eligibility criteria to become Forensic Scientist:

As you completed your 12th standard with physics, chemistry and Biology from a recognised board then you are definitely eligible to pursue bachelor degree in forensic science.
