Re: What does MFA(Masters in Fiance), MIB(Masters in international Business) and MTA(Masters in Tourism Administration) deal with? What is the future and scope in all the courses?
My dear friend, here is what you want:
Master of finance involves the graduates to know about financial analysis, investment management and corporate finance. if u r really interested in financial risk management, economics and feel that u r really aware of value of time and money then go for it. though it ovrlaps a bit with mba,the finance Master's provides a broader and deeper exposure to finance, but more limited exposure to general management topics. MFA may also mean master of fine arts, if u are really interested in visual effects(ceramics, drawing),creative writing, film making, dance, etc then this is what u must choose. u just need to have 2-3 years beyond bachelors degree. it doesn't require any undergraduate record related with fine arts. its considered as a better field and is regarded as of the terminal preference.. so it would b a better option if it is done in countries like United states MIB is ranked by the Financial Times amongst the top 5 Masters in Management in the world. eligibility: graduation in any discipline, 2 yrs exp. in full time work, a succesfull gmat/ gre score. Institutes that offer MIB: New Zealand * The University of Auckland [edit] Australia * The Australian National University * Southern Cross University * Swinburne University of Technology * University of Melbourne[2] * Monash University * La Trobe University * Macquarie University * University of South Australia * Griffith University * Queensland University of Technology * University of the Sunshine Coast * University of Canberra * University of Western Sydney * University of Sydney * Curtin University * Edith Cowan University * International College of Management, Sydney * Deakin University * University of Newcastle, Australia * University of Tasmania * University of New England (Australia) * University of Wollongong [edit] India * Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. * Delhi School of Economics * Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur,Rajasthan * PSG CAS * St. Joseph's College, Bangalore * Saraswathi Thiyagaraja College, Pollachi * Pondicherry University, Pondy * University Of Salford * University Of Rajasthan * HNB GARHWAL UNIVERSITY,SRI NAGAR (UK) * Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore * GRD, Coimbatore * Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi * Indian Insitute of Foreign Trade, Delhi and Kolkata [edit] United States * Florida International University * Nova Southeastern University[3] * Georgia State University * Hawai'i Pacific University[4] * Hult International Business School * Seattle University * Jones International University[5] * Saint Louis University * Saint Mary's University of Minnesota * Tufts University * University of Florida * University of Memphis * University of South Carolina * Northeastern University [edit] Europe * UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS[6] * EM Strasbourg Business School (École de management Strasbourg) * ESG Management School * Hult International Business School[7] * Paris Dauphine University[8] * Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration[9] * Liverpool Hope University[10] * TASMAC London School of Business.(MBA:International Business) * Grenoble Graduate School of Business * IÉSEG School of Management[11] * Montpellier Ecole Superieure de Commerce * Keele University[12] * Northampton University * EENI- The Global Business School[13] * University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis * Maastricht University[14] * Aarhus School of Business[15] * University of Applied Sciences Berlin - HTW Berlin[16] * London School of Business and Finance[17] * International University in Geneva[18] * INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS KYIV NATIONAL TARAS SHEVCHENKO UNIVERSITY[19] * Copenhagen Business School [edit] Middle East * Hult International Business School * Zayed University Course: 16 subjects with two years of full time study or four years of part time study to complete. In this case, there would be an expectation of completion within 18 months if studying full time or three years if studying part time. MTA is one of the very good sources of studies about tourism.. Duration: Most of the post Graduate courses are of 1 year duration in Travel and Tourism. However if you are interested in pursuing a course in Master of Tourism administration from Himachal Pradesh University or a M.A. in Tourism Management from Benaras Hindu University you will have to dedicate 2 years.. Eligibility: For the diploma courses one needs to be a simple Graduate from a recognized India University. However the minimum qualification to earn a master degree is Graduation with 50% marks for General category students. The Sc / ST candidates need to have 45% marks in Graduation. Career prospects after completion of the courses A career in Tourism industry is worth taking up because opportunities abound after successful completion of Masters in Tourism. As tourist inflow is increasing in India numerous travel agencies, Airlines, Ministry of Tourism require professionals having Post Graduate Degree in Tourism or Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management or Tourism Administration to handle the tourists. Thus one has the option of choosing either the public sector or the private sector as his or her employee. In addition to that one can even choose to get self-employed after acquiring the expert knowledge and adequate experience. |

MFA has the best scope not only in India but also abroad...the reason being all the economy is running in finance...from financing, stock markets, banking, insurance all are under the purview of finance...and when you get a masters degree in finance that means you are an expert in the area and your employability level increases
