What is the domicile eligibility for MH CET exam?
I am in Government Job. My wife and I, were born and studied in Maharashtra. But for about 9 to 10 years we were posted at places out of Maharashtra. Our Children traveled with us and studied at various schools wherever we were posted.
Now we are settled back in Maharashtra, since last 4 years, where our children are studying in Schools in Maharashtra. To appear for MHT-CET and securing admission in Engineering colleges for our children, they need to have Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra. By virtue of our as well as our Children's birth in Maharashtra, can children get domicile certificate of Maharashtra? Our stay at different places was for temporary period, though it ran in to several years, out of compulsion, on Government job transfer. Are we not entitled to get domicile certificate of Maharashtra, for the sake of admission of our children, under the circumstances mentioned above? |
