Sir, can I become an Agricultural Officer just after completing B.Sc Agriculture program? What might be the starting salary range? And, what can I study further?

Yes, you can certainly become an Agricultural Officer after completing Bachelor of Science(Agriculture).

The minimum eligibility required to become an Agricultural Officer is mentioned below:-

1)You must have attained the age of 21 years but should not be more than 30 years(age relaxation is offered to reserved categories).
2)You must be a graduate in veterinary, fisheries, agriculture or dairy Horticulture etc with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university(55% for candidates of reserved categories).


The expected salary of Agricultural Officer starts from Rs.58,000 to Rs. 110,000. However, it varies from state to state . If you want you can pursue Post Graduation and after completing post graduation can do Ph.D to become a professor in Indai's top most educational institutes.
