It's a 3 year full time diploma level degree program that deals with fundamentals of nursing .
Those who have completed 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology with atleast 55% and above marks as compulsary subject are eligible.
The admission to the course is merit based.
The average fee of the course is INR 1 lakh to 3 lakh.
Since there are no entrance exam , the individual universities prepare their own merit list on the basis of students performance in class 12 and the number of seats available in their degree program.

1. For DGNM (Diploma in General Nursing)- Candidates should have passed 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
2. Also referred to GNM in some colleges, the 3.5-year diploma programme is aimed at preparing general nurses that can effectively perform nursing duties in hospitals and other places where their services might be required.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
