Hello, I'm confused about Assistant Commandant post in BSF. I want to know that is Science required for Assistant Commandant post in BSF? Can we complete our graduation with Commerce or Science is compulsory for Assistant Commandant officer in Border Security Force?

To become an Assistant Commandant, you have to appear and qualify in CAPF examination. It is conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Age limit is 19-25 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category.

No limitation in discipline of bachelor degree to appear in the examination. So, you can pursue bachelor degree in any discipline to appear in the examination.

To become Assistant Commandant in BSF, candidates will have to appear and qualify in CAPF ( AC ) examination conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, you are eligible to appear in the examination after completion of graduation in any discipline.

Examination is conducted in two stags and candidates have to qualify in all stages for final selection.
