my schooling is from chandigarh from cbse board...but my birth place is punjab and i m permanent resident of punjab... we also have property in punjab...so can u please tell me dat i am eligible for punjab pmt or not??

PMET :- Punjab Medical Entrance Test . This Examination is Organized by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) .

If your qualified in this entrance examination then you get admission in following course like , Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery / Bachelor of Dental Surgery / Bachelor of Ayurvedic / Medicine and Surgery / Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery etc..

If your interested to apply for this examination then you should fulfill the following eligibility criteria like ,

You should qualified in 12th Board Examination in science from recognized university / Institution . You should study major subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th standard . You should score more then 80% percentage of marks in 12th board Examination . You should complete the 17 years then your eligible to apply for this Examination .

Note :-

Sir, I want to know that I am a permanent resident of punjab belongs to Tehsil Pathankot which now declared District of Punjab, located in Border Area, rural areas having certificates issued by the competent authority but sir due to service of my father in a public sector undertaking I had taken education in different states as J &K, Himachal & Now passed 10 2 from Madhya Pradesh with maximum period of M.P i.e. near about 7 years.

candidate should be a bonafide resident of punjab with punjab domicile
candidate should pass 10+2 or equivalent exam with physics , chemistry & Biology with t least 50% marks
40% for BC/SC/ST

Exam Pattern :
Duration : 150 min
200 multiple choice questions

Physics - 50 questions
chemistry - 50 questions
Biology - 100 questions
