Eligibility for SBI Clerk -

10 + 2 with 60% marks from a recognised board.

Age should be between 18 - 28 years.

For OBC it is upt0 33 years

For SC/ ST it is upto 35 years.

There are five sections of SBI clerical exam -

Reasoning

Quantitative aptitude

General knowledge ( with focus on banking)

English

SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

## Nationality:-

You need to be a citizen of India.

## Educational Qualification:-

If you have any one of the following qualifications then you will be considered eligible:-

i) If you have completed 12th standard of a recognized board with at least 60% of marks in aggregate.

ii) If you have a diploma degree which has not been done in correspondence and have secured 60% of marks in it. The duration of the degree should not be less than two years.

iii) If you have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university and have secured 40% of marks in it. (SC/ST/PWD Candidates needs to get 45% of marks).

## Age Criteria:-

i) Minimum Age Limit:- 18 yrs.
ii) Maximum Age Limut:- 28 yrs.

## Age Relaxation:-

There is upper age limit relaxation for the following categories:-

i) SC/ST Candidates: 5 yrs.
ii) OBC Candidates (Non-creamy layers): 3 yrs
iii) PWD-Gen Candidates: 10 yrs
iv) PWD-SC/ST Candidates: 15 yrs
v) PWD-OBC Candidates: 13 yrs.

## Selection Procedure:-

The selection procedure mainly consists of two barriers which you need to cross to finally get selected. These two stages are written examination and personal interview session. In the written exam you need to get certain pass percentage to make it to the next round of selection. For the SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates there is 5% relaxation.

## Exam Pattern:-

As far as the question paper is concerned it will mainly consists of five sections of 40 marks each. So the total marks allotted for this exam is 200. Same number of questions will be asked too in the whole exam. You will get only two hours and fifteen minutes to complete the whole paper.

Each right answer will carry one mark and there is negative marking too. So for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will get deducted from your score. Papers for the exam will be set in both English and Hindi.

Following areas needs special attention when preparing for the SBI Clerk Exam:-
