I'm a B.Sc Nursing student. Am I eligible to apply for the post of Government Medical Offer? What are the other criteria? Do I need to appear for any entrance? What is the pay scale of this post?

Eligibility Criteria for medical officer:-
1)You should be a citizen of India.
2)You must have a MBBS degree from a recognized university.
3) Your age should not be more than 35 years.

The salary would be rs.90,000 per month.
As a B.Sc nursing student you can apply for staff nurse vacancies.

You are not eligible to join as Medical Officer as the primary requirement to join any government organization as medical officer :- You must have a MBBS, BAMS, BHMS or BUMS degree from a recognized university. However, once you complete any of the above mentioned courses, you can apply for Medical officer.
