Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted by the Air Force Selection Board for recruitment of officers in all the major branches of Indian Air Force and in order to be considered eligible for the flying branch, one must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the bachelors degree examination and must have studied Physics and Mathematics in the 10+2 level. As far as age limit is concerned, the minimum eligible age to be considered eligible for the test is 19 years and the maximum age limit is 23 years. The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted twice a year and the notification for the same is published in the month of June and December every year. Dear student here eligibility criteria for Indian Air Force:::: Age Limit: 19 to 23 years on the 1st of the month of commencement of the course. Educational Qualification: B.Sc. (Physics/Maths) 3 years or B.E. 4 years or B.Sc. (General) 3 years with Physics and Maths. Should not have been suspended in Flying Training earlier. Physical Eligibility: For Male (a) Height: 162.5 cms (b) Leg Length: Not less than 99 cms and not more than 128 cms, (c) Chest: fully expanded chest should not be less than 82 cms with 5 cms expansion. After having successfully cleared this step, you will be required to undergo PFT consisting of 1.6 Km run to be completed in a maximum of eight minutes. Educational Qualification: Candiadte must be graduate in science or should have 4 years B.E./B.Tech degree from recognized University. Should not have been suspended in Flying Training Earlier. Age Limit: 19-23 years Physical Eligibility: For Male: Height: 162.5 cms Leg Length: Not less than 99 cms and not more than 128 cms Chest: fully exanded chest should not be less than 82 cms with 5 cms expansion. For Female: Height: 162.5 cms Leg Length: Between 99 cms and 120 cms This exam is generally held in the month of January and July. |
