What is the full form of B.Ed? What is this course all about?


Respected Sir, I want to pursue B.Ed but I don't know anything about it, like what is the full form of B.Ed? What is this course all about? How can I get admission it it? Please answer as soon as possible.

* B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education and it is a professional degree course you are interested in making their career in teaching field.

* The course is basically designed to make one understands the basics of teaching and what must be done so that the student can extract maximum from their teacher.

* The duration of the same course is two years and for pursuing the same course you need to be a bachelor degree holder in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate ( 45% in case of reserved category candidate ) from a recognized university.

The full form of B.Ed is Bachelor of Education.

Duration of B.Ed course - 2 years.

It is an undergraduate academic course.It is a course offered for those who are interested in pursuing career in teaching & related fields.This course can also be pursued through correspondence or distance learning.

Eligibility Criteria:- The qualification required for B.Ed is a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks.

Annamalai University

Amity Institute of Education,New Delhi

Bangalore University,Bangalore

IGNOU- Indira Gandhi National University University

Panjab University- PU Chandigarh

After completing B.Ed you can apply for teaching job.

Admission Procedure

Admission in to B.Ed will be done based on the marks in the entrance exam conducted by university/college.

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education and it is two year undergraduate course.

The course is mandatory for candidates who are interested in getting the teaching jobs in future.

It deals with the basic methods of teaching. The eligibility to get admission in course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum 50% and must qualify in entrance examination to get admission.

I have done my b.a. in education honor's from Calcutta university.it is a 4 year course.so I want to know that if I want to go in teaching line I also have to clear b.ed exam
