What is the full form of MBBS? Eligibility criteria needed to apply for MBBS?
What is the fullform of MBBS? Can you please let me know what is the eligibility criteria followed to apply for MBBS? What course we should do in intermediate? What are the topics to cover to complete MBBS? Awaiting for the response soon.

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and it is five year duration course.
To get admission in course candidate have to appear and qualify in NEET examination. The examination is conducted by CBSE. The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed or pursuing 12th from a recognised board. Candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main paper with minimum 50%. The age limit to appear for examination is minimum 17 years. MBBS refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and same is a professional bachelor degree course of five and a half years including one year of internship.
Further for pursuing MBBS degree course one is required to have completed his/her higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with 50% marks from a recognized board. Also for pursuing MBBS degree course from a recognized medical college you need to qualify anyone of NEET, AIIMS MBBS entrance examination & JIPMER and for details and updates regarding these examinations you can refer to their respective official links which are www.cbseneet.nic.in, www.aiimsexams.org and www.jipmer.edu.in. |

MBBS stands for bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. One can get admission in this course through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). Candidates who have completed their intermediate in PCB from a recognized board are eligible to give this exam. Age limit is in between 17 to 25 years. Thanks

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed 12th with PCB as main paper. Candidate must have scored minimum 50% with PCB and English. NEET examination is conducted by CBSE for admission in government and private colleges but for admission in AIIMS candidate have to qualify in AIIMS MBBS. The minimum age limit to appear for examination is 17 years. The topics of examination are from NCERT books of 11th and 12th std. The full form of MBBS is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
Eligibility criteria for MBBS entrance exam: 1. You should do 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology from any recognized board. 2. You need to score minimum of 50% marks in board exam. You can download NEET 2017 brochure from official website of NEET for important topics and whole syllabus. You need to focus on NCERT books of PCB subjects of standard 11th and 12th. |

MBBS Stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Eligibility to MBBS You should have completed HSC with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as Subjects i.e You should have studied wheyher Maths Biology or Science group in your Higher secondary level. Now Central Government announced that NEET exam is the only way to get admission in Medical Colleges so you must apply for NEET EXAM and you should prepare well for NEET conducted by the CBSE .
