Hi, I want to study a graduate level course in Chemical Engineering. So, can you tell me what is the future scope in this area so I can convince my parents to allow me to do Chemical Engineering degree course? And, what are the job opportunities? In which all companies in India can I get jobs?

=>Scope in Higher studies after completion of B.Tech in Chemical Engineering:

After qualifying GATE you can go for MS/M.Tech in IITs.
Thats will lead you to become Professor or Scientists.

=>Scope after clearing GATE :
In the final year of B.tech you can appear for GATE.
And most of the PSU like ONGC, IOCL,,BPCL , HPCL, BARCgive jobs to GATE qualify students

=> Scope in Private Sector :
Various renowned private sector provide job to Chemical Engineer and give a handsome salary.
Which are: Gamble, RCF , Asian Paints , Petrochemical industries.
