What is the income criteria for OBC category?
My income per annum is Rs.7,50,000. Do I fall under OBC caste category? I belong to Ligayath caste. Is it a part of OBC caste? Please, can anybody clarify on this?

The income criteria basis is used to identify who belongs to creamy layer or non creamy layer of Other Backward Class.
Creamy layer candidates are not eligible for reservation. The income of parents is used for identification of creamy and non creamy. At present, the income limit of 8 lacs per annum is the criteria for such division. |
