Job opportunities in Banking Sectors are in Clerical Cadre and P.O.(Probationary Officer) Cadre.

The exam for Clerical and P.O. jobs are generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public Sector banks.

The eligibility for IBPS Clerical Exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
-Should have either completed 10th with 60% marks, or have completed 12th with 50% marks or having completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University.
-Should be within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-The candidate should be a Computer literate one.

The eligibility for SBI Clerical exam - The candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either completed 12th with 50% marks or have completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Knowledge over computer operation.

Eligibility For SBI/IBPS P.O. Exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian National
-Should have completed Graduation in any stream of education from a recognised University.
-Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-Should be a computer literate one.

U din't mention ur qualification..
For General category 30 years is upper limit to enter Banking Sector.

clerical..Probationary officers.. Specialist Officers... Management trainees are the different roles u can choose..

For this 19 public sector banks conducts IBPS Common Written Examination.

IBPS Exam for clerical was held in December-2012
IBPS Exam for others(PO/Management Trainee) will be notified in too months..every one looking for the same...

SBI conducts separately for the same selection.
