kindly tell me in which fields I can get job after doing Btech Biotech? There is total chaos nowadays? what to do? whether to go for mtech biotech or going for job? There is not much scope for biotech students i think? plz suggest me d way where should i go?

There are opportunities in Biotechnology but there are less when compared to

other streams of Btech.But if you try hard surely you would success.

Scope of Btech biotechnology:


After B.Tech one can go for M.Tech. IITs and others even offer integrated

M.Tech programme. Biotech is a booming sector and the growth opportunities

are high. The Biotech sector includes - Biopharma, Biotech, Biotech services,

Bio industrial, Bioinformatics etc.

The Career options related to the Biotech Industry extend to universities,

medical schools and government labs along with pharmaceutical companies,

chemical, agriculture and allied industries. Every well-established Biotech Unit

comprises of several divisions that carry out different functions.

Research & Development, Operations,Quality,Clinical Research,Biotech Sales

Jobs,Biotech Pharmaceutical Jobs.

Private sector pharmaceutical companies generally offer Rs.12000- 20000 per

month to an entry-level postgraduate. Those employed as researchers in

government sector can have a starting salary of Rs.9000 per month along

with government perks/allowances

Biotechnology is one of the good growing fields in the world. There are many job chances after completing biotechnology.all the best

The career in the Btech biotech is very vast and one could earn and do very good in future.Multiple career options are waiting for biotechnology professionals.The biotechnology is booming in India right now and soon we will have the maximum number of jobs in this area. Other then this you can also apply for the Civil service exam and the CDSE exam. Both these exams are conducted by the UPSC and the eligibility criteria is you must have done graduation in any streams
