IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination .

This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year.

If you have M.Sc degree in Physics , Radio Physics or engineering degree (B-Tech/BE) then you are eligible for IES exam.Final year student also eligible for IES exam .There is no percentage criteria in IES Exam.

Written exam conducts on below given subjects , you can choose any one from below given subject for IES exam-

Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

The applicant age should be in between 21 yrs to 30 yrs.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

If you have scored more than above 50% marks in written exam then you can easily qualify IES exam.
