Mechanical engineering covers all concepts of automobile engineering plus other areas of mechanical field. Mechanical engineering covers everything related to the design and manufacture of production structures, automobiles, etc. Automobile engineering is derived from mechanical engineering. It deals only with the design, manufacture and maintenance of automobiles. Both these courses offers adequate career opportunities and placement for students.
