What is the maximum age limit to apply for D.Ed examination?


I am a working woman and I have experience of 24years now. I am 54 years old, can I study D.Ed?. Is there a maximum age for appearing D.Ed exam? Can you please clarify my doubts with the right details? Awaiting for the response soon. Thanks!

D.Ed stands for Diploma in Education. The eligibility criteria for pursuing D.Ed course:

>>Candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board. You need to have minimum of 50% marks in 12th to apply for examination of D.Ed course.

>>The minimum age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 36 years. It is relaxed by three years for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates.

At age of 54 years, you can not apply for D.Ed examination.
