Hi, I have eye vision of 6/9. Is this good enough to join at the post of Deck Cadet in Merchant Navy? What is the standard eye sight criteria and what are the other physical health requirements?

For a deck cadet in merchant navy, vision should be 6/6 in better eye & 6/9 in another eye. Colour blind people are not allowed.
Various physical health tests conducted in merchant Navy are:
* Audiometry
* Dental
* Eye test
* Sonography
* Blood test & urine test
* Physcometry
* Genitourinary system
