Hi, could anybody please confirm me about the minimum age criteria to be eligible for class 9th registration under CBSE Board's curriculum? Is there any age relaxation for any caste category candidates?

The minimum age required to register for CBSE Class 10th board examination is 13 years as on the 1st October of that year in which the candidate is pursuing his/her Class 9th i.e; 14 years as on the 1st October of that year in which candidate is pursuing his/her Class 10th.

There is no relaxation in age limit for reserved category candidates in board examination.

The age limit to appear for board examination varies with state. It is the Directorate of State Education which determines the age limit qualification to appear for board examination.
