Different states have different rules for minimum age to be attained to be eligible to write 10th class exam.

Normal age for appearing for 10th class exam is 15 yrs , but there are many such students who are just 12 or 13 yrs old still they they write 10th class exam, and pass with good percentage.

Recently there was a case of student of class 12th who was just 14 years old appeared for 12th class exam and IIT JEE. Being younger in age, still CBSE allowed him, so you can see even boards don't have some specific criteria .

So, conclusion is that if you are above 13, you can appear for 10th class exam in CBSE, although there are restriction in case of State boards.

Friend as per the rule of C.B.S.E the student who apply for 10th board exam must be the age of 14 year and the candidate who apply for 12th exam must be at the age of minimum 16 year.

I just want to tell you that there is no such minimum age that you should have to appear in CBSE 10th exam but in general you should have 13 years of age.

But there are also some cases where 11 or 12 years old students are also giving 10th exam .

So , you need not to worry on the age factor much.

The minimum age of passing CBSE class 10th of 15 years old.
Normaly 12th\13th age students passing class 10th. but , if you want do pass class good marks . So you read 6hours per day.

Q:-eligibility for 10th class.

-> As per the government sayings .
-> Minimum age is 12 and Maximum age is 16.
-> Incase your age is not in or coinciding with the mentioned age , no need to worry as 10th certificate is basic certificate for everything they can adjust it to the required . Buy you have to seek permission for it.
