The Lut Desert in Iran, the Turpan Basin in China and the badlands in Queensland, Australia are among the hottest places on Earth . But it is very difficult to say which place is hottest .

In 2003 Lut desert temperature record is 69.3 oC (156.7 oF)

In 2008 Turpan Basin in China temperature record is 66.8 oC (152.2 oF)
