The horizon of economics is gradually increasing .Some of the major branches of economics that is its scope are as below:

Nature and scope:

1.Microeconomics : Branch of economic analysis which deals with study of individual unit.It is study of one particular unit rather combined together.

2.Macroeconomics :

>>Branch of economic analysis which studies of all units combined together.It is also called aggregative economics as it studies in aggregates.
