What is the NET Syllabus for computer applications?


I have completed M.Sc information technology and management. I want to know whether there is NET conducted for the the said course or for Information technology alone. If not, can I appear for NET conducted for computer science/applications. I also want to know the syllabus for NET conducted for computer applications

Since you have done your Masters in Information Technology, you will have to take the National Eligibility Test in Computer Science and Applications, provided you have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the masters degree examination conducted by a recognized university.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by the University Grants Commission .

This exam is conduct for -

1)JRF
2)Lectureship post
3)PHD admission

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam but their is also some marks criteria.For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

You have completed M.Sc in Information Technology then you are applicable for NET Exam.But there is no subject for information technology .So you should take computer science subject for NET exam.The code for this subject is 87 .

For JRF ,The age should be below 28 years .Age relaxation upto 5 years provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Lectureship , there are no age limit.

Pattern for NET Exam:-



From this year the all paper are consist of multiple type Question.Each Question contain 2 marks.There is no negative marking.

The abbreviation of NET is National Eligibility Test.





Exactly, you are preferable for National Eligibility Test.


University Grants Commission organizes National Eligibility Test every for two times.


National Eligibility Test is organized in these two months below mentioned:-

# June.

# December.


National Eligibility Test is organized for these two reputed posts below mentioned:-

# Junior Research Fellowship(JRF).

# Lectureship.


The educational qualifications regarding with National Eligibility Test are below mentioned:-

# Candidates must have finished their master degree in any curriculum from any approved institution.

# Candidates must have secured 55% marks in master degree for this exam.

# SC/ST candidates must have secured 50% marks in master degree for this exam.


The age criteria and relaxation regarding with National Eligibility Test are below mentioned:-

# 20-28 years:- Junior Research Fellowship.

# There i no age limit assumed for Lectureship.

# Relaxation:- 5 years are assumed for OBC, SC/ST and PH candidates.

# Citizenship:- Must be Indian.

Dear Aspirant,


NET stands for National Eligibility Test and this exam is conducted by University Grant Commission twice time in the year for the Two post:

1. Junior Research Fellowship and

2.Lectureship



Eligibility and Criteria:-


1. A candidate who have completed their Post Graduation degree/Master Degree in any Discipline are eligible for applying this Examination.....

2. A candidate must have secure at least 55% in their Educational Career....

3. There is no any Age Criteria for applying Lectureship Post but for Junior Research Fellowship Post age not Exist 28 years this exam.....

4. Nationality of candidate must be INDIAN.....

If you have completed Graduation degree in any Discipline from recognized university then you are eligible for National Eligibility Test exam....

There is no any Age Limit for applying Lectureship Post....

But

Junior Research Fellowship Post age not Exist 28 years.....
