Re: What is the provision for counting non-creamy layer period in state of Karnataka?
Generally, the income certificate of previous financial years is considered which has ended recently. Coming to your second query, the income dividing creamy and non creamy layer of OBC is 8 lacs per annum as per latest details.
Non creamy layer candidates are those whose parent's income is below 8 lacs per annum. They can enjoy benefits of reservation in cut off marks and vacancies. |

Suppose you are applying for entrance exams in financial year of 2018-19 session then you need to produce income certificate of 2017-18 year.
The provision for counting creamy and non creamy candidates: It is based on income limit of candidates. Those who income is below 8 lacs per annum are under creamy and those above are for creamy layer. |
