Graduation is the basic qualification required for IAS. Candidates who have completed bachelor degree in any stream with 50% marks can appear for CSAT exam. Age of the candidate must be within 30 years. Age should exceed 21 years. No of attempts allowed for the test are 4.

Hai,
IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) only one time in a year. Eligibility criteria:- You should be complete graduation or an bachelor's degree from a recognised university. The candidate must be a citizen of india. Final year persuing candidates can also be eligible for this exam. There is no required percentage to appear this exam. Age criteria:- For General candidates 21 years to 30years, For OBC candidates 21 years to 33years, For SC/ST candidates 21 years to 35 years. For PH OBC candidates 21 years to 40years. Number of Attempts:- 4 times for general candidates, 7 times OBC candidates, No limit for SC/ST candidates. You can fulfill your dream by cracking the Civil services Examination. * The Civil Services Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment of Class - I officers. The Qualifications required for Civil Services Examination are : * You must have completed your graduation from any recognized board/university. * Your age should lie in between 21-30 years. * There is a relaxation in upper age of 5 years if you belong to SC/ST Category. * There is a relaxation in upper age of 3 years if you belong to OBC Category. * You must be an Indian Citizen. IAS -INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer the candidate has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.
Eligibility for Civil Service Exam:- -The candidate must be an Indian National -Should have either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or passed in any stream of education from a recognised University. -Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC candidate. The selection is through two stages of written exam:- -CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam -Civil Service Main Exam The eligible candidate applying for Civil Service exam are calle for the CSAt exam and the candidate selected out of it is called for the Civil Service Main Exam. 21-30 years as on 1.7.2012. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice). (ii) Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification (Para 3(iii) of Notice). IAS is the Indian Administration service which is the government job post . for IAS job post you need to be qualify the toughest entrance exam which has been conducted by the UPSC department. Eligibility for the IAS : 1. Educational Qualification: you should be passed the bachelor degree from any recognized university. Any bachelor degree students can apply for this exam . 2. Age limit: age must be between the 21 to 30 years /. Age relaxation: 5 years for Sc/ST and 3 years for OBC. 3. Indian citizen Selection processs: 1. Preliminary entrance exam 2. Main entrance exam 3. To become a IAS Officer you have to crack Civil Services examination which is conducted by UPSC.
Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services Exam: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.
