Graduation is the basic qualification required for IAS. There is no restriction on the subject selected at degree level. Selection test for IAS is conducted by UPSC. Age of the applicant must be below 30 years. Such a candidate can attempt selection test at most 4 times. Relaxation in this will be offered for reserved category candidates.

IAS entrance exam has been conducted by the UPSC department which is the most toughest entrance exam .. IAS entrance exam has been conducted 1 time in the year in june. IAS entrance exam eligibility: 1. you should be passed the graduation from any recognized university,. 2. age must be between the 21 to 30 years . age relaxation as per government rules. 3. Indian citizen. Any stream of the students can apply for the IAS entrance exam you can choose the optional subject in entrance exam Selection process: 1. preliminary entrance exam 2. Main entrance exam 3. Interview etc Entrance exam subjects : History English comprehension General studies General knowledge Optional subject ( choose according to your stream ) thank you! |

Qualifications' required for IAS(Indian Administrative Services):-
IAS entrance examination is conducted by UPSC every year.This is most honourable and competitive entrance exam.Candidates to work hard and to get selection they are to clear CSAT/Mains exam./Interview. Qualifications needed to apply:- 1.Education: Any Graduate from a recognized University or a final year candidate can write IAS entrance examination. 2.Age: General:21-32 years, OBC: 21-35 years, S/C S/T: 21-37 years. 3.Nationality: Indian. 4.Attempts: General 6 times, OBC: 8 times.
