what is the qualification for cbi..could u pelase provide to me the details

Recruitment of Deputy Superintendents of Police in the CBI is done through the Civil Services Examination conducted by the UPSC. Certain physical standards are set for officers in this service. On selection, candidates undergo a foundation course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy and are sent to the CBI Training Academy at Ghaziabad for further inputs. A DSP can rise up to the level of Joint Director in the CBI.

Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant should be complete graduation from a recognised university.

Percentage is not required for this examination.

Final year exams appearing students are also eligible.

Applicant should be a citizen of India.


Age criteria:-

The candidates age should be in between 20 years to 27 years,

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection steps:-

Written exam,

Personal Interview.

If you have completed graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University then you are eligible for Criminal Investigation Department exam....

Final years of graduation degree students also eligible for this exam.There is no percentage required....

Candidates must be Indian...

General Age Limit is 20-27 years. but there is relaxation is available for reserved category....

+3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates..

+5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates..

CBI - Central Bureau of Investigation.CBI is the main Investigation agency of India.Candidate can join CBI as a sub Inspector through combined Graduate level examination.So this exam is conducted at the all india level every year by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission).

Eligibility Criteria:

**The Candidate must be a citizen of India

**The Candidate should be complete bachelor's degree or any equivalent degree from a recognized university.

**Percentage is not important to apply this exam.

Age Criteria:

**The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years.

**3 years relaxation for Other Backward Classes,

**5 years relaxation for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates.


Physical Requirements:

Height :

Men : 165 cms

Women : 150 cms

Chest :

76 cms with expansion 5 cms

Vision Details :

Distant Vision : 6/6 in one & 6/9 in other eye

Near vision : 0.6 in one & 0.8 in other eye

$$ CBI stands for the Central Bureau of Investigation, this exam is being conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year....

$$ This exam is conducted in the Three Tier: Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III you must have to Qualify in all the teir exam. Tier-I consist 200 Marks, Tier-II consists 400 Marks and Tier-III Consists 100 marks for the Interview....

$$ A candidate who have passed out their Graduation degree in any Discipline can apply for this examination....

$$ While Pursuing Final Year of Graduation also apply for the same....

$$ Age of candidate should be between 20 to 27 years....

$$ Maximum relaxation for OBC category on upper age is 3 years provided....

$$ For SC/ST it is up to 5 years....

$$ Height of candidate at least 160Cm...

$$ Chest Expansion minimum 5 Cm...

$$ Eyesight should be 6/6....
