What is the qualification required for CID department? I am interested in CID
sir i intrested in c.i.d and i will join c.i.d department so what qualification i will join c.i.d department............

To join CID you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CID exam.(Criminology) But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India. CID-Central Investigation Department. SSC(Staff Selection Commission) conducts this exam. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. The candidate who wants to apply this exam must be an indian origin. Percentage is not required for this exam. Age criteria:- The age limits are 20 to 27 years, 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Selection process:- Written exam, Personal interview. Written exam details:- Best of luck. |

CID Stands for Crime Investigation Department. The Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination every year through which you can join CID. The Qualifications Required for Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination are mentioned hither : * you must be graduate in any stream from any recognized college/university. * you must be a citizen of India. * your age must lie in between 20-27 years. * There is a relaxation of 3 years in upper age for OBC candidates and of 5 years for SC/ST candidates. CID stands for crime investigation department , which is one of the best department in india to control crimes , now as far as the eligibility criteria is concern , :- 1. for constable post:- for constable post you have to be minimum 12th passed and your age lie in the range 18-21 years. 2. for officer category post:- you must have a bachelor degree , and your age should lie in the range of 21-30 years .. so, all the best |
