NDA Stands for National Defence Academy examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II .

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects-

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs

The physical Eligibility criteria for NDA exam is given below-

The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm. (162.5 cm for Air-Force).

Your chest should be well developed, fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms

You should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses.

Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hyper metropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism.

Additional Requirements :-

• Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes
• Skipping
• Pushups : Minimum 20 each Sit-ups
• Chin ups : Minimum 08
• Rope Climbing : 3 to 4 meters.

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

NDA I is already over so you can apply in NDA II exam.If you are applicable for NDA exam then you can apply for NDA exam before the closing date.

the exam of nda is in two shift, paper one contains 100 questions of maths and paper two contains 30 question each of physics chemistry biology english and general knowledge.

FOLLOWING ARE THE QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR NDA:
1] Martial status of the canditate should be single.
2] the canditate should not marry until the completion of the training.
3] the minimum age of the canditate must be 16.5 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination.
4]12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
5]ONLY MALE CANDITATES ARE ELIGIBLE.

NDA - National Defense Academy

There are certain eligibility conditions that the candidate must possess to apply for the NDA Exam,and they may include such as:

-> Candidate must have a citizenship in India

-> Candidate appearing must be a unmarried male candidate as it is a important standard.

-> Candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years i.e candidate should have born after 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996.

-> Regarding the education qualification for the NDA exam it is mentioned that the candidate who are wishing to be a part of Indian Army must have completed +2 from a recognized school board.

-> Candidates who want to be a part of Indian Navy and Air Force must have completed +2 from a recognized board with physics and mathematics as subjects.

-> Candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the NDA Exam as regarding the physical standard.

If you tend to satisfy these criteria's then you can apply for the NDA Exam.

You can apply for the NDA exam either Online or Offline.

Airforce,Army,Navy & Navel Academy.

To appear this exam you must have passed 12th class with around 55% aggregate from a recognized college.

You should have following subject in 12th- Physics, mathematics, and Chemistry.

Final year students of 12th class are also eligible to apply NDA.

Only unmarried male candidate can apply for this exam.

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

In nda exam there are two papers held.

First paper is Math. It's 300 marks and question will be 120, every question is 2.5 marks.

Second paper is General ability which is 600 marks.there are two section divide in General ability.

1.english is 200 marks and general knowledge is 400 marks.
