For Bachelor of Technology degree holder with either Civil engineering or Electrical and Communication engineering the best options in Indian Railways are the option of Junior Engineer and Senior Engineer.

For both of these posts you will have to clear Railway Recruitment Board ( RRB ) examination held by different RRBs following a particular rotation pattern under the supervision of Ministry of Indian Railways.

--> The qualifications which you must need to be eligible for the same are as here under :-

* * * For the post of Junior Engineer :-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 18 years to 32 years. There is provision age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* You must at least have diploma in engineering degree from a recognized institute. Final year students of same degree course are also eligible.

* * * For the post of Senior Engineer :-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying between 20 years to 34 years. There is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* Your must have completed your bachelor of engineer / technology degree from a recognized university. Students pursuing the final year of same degree course are also eligible.

--> The examination includes three stages which are Written examination, Mains & Medical and Interview all held in the order they are mentioned.
