what are the recquirements for Indian navy after 12 std

Pass in 12th is the minimum educational qualification required. This qualification must be obtained with physics and mathematics as subjects. Your age must be between 16 1/2 and 19 years. Unmarried male candidates can apply. Selection process is made through NDA entrance exam. General aptitude and basic mathematics forms the syllabus of the test.

The detail Physical Standards to join Indian Navy after 12th as SSB officer is mentioned below:
(a) Height and Weight
Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight as per age.
(b) Eye Sight
The minimum acceptable vision standards for distant vision is 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind
Note: There will be no relaxation in physical standards.

In the Naval Academy curriculum, a lot of emphasis is laid on physical fitness. You are therefore, advised to remain fit by undertaking regular physical exercise, sports, running, swimming, etc. so that you can meet the training goals successfully.

->NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year to recruit candiadates in NAVY,ARMY and AIRFORCE wings
