What should be the age for appearing in CBSE 10th Board exams?
Please let me know the minimum age required to write CBSE 10th exam? My son's date of birth is 11-06-2015, now he is in UKG, will there be a problem when he writes CBSE 10th exam based on this admission?

There is no age limit criteria to appear in 10th board examination as per notification of CBSE.
The age limit is decided by the Directorate of State Education to appear in the examination. So, visit the concerned office or the school to get the detail about the age limit criteria to appear for 10th board examination. |

As per the current norms, the minimum age to apply for CBSE Class 10th board examination is 14 years as on the 01 October of that year in which the student got admitted to his/her Class 10th.
So, being born on 11.06.2015 and currently studying in UKG, your son will not have to face any issue associated with his age when he will be appearing in his Class 10th board examination. For more details regarding the CBSE board examination, you can refer to the link www.cbse.nic.in. |
