i am in 3rd year doing b tech in eee..... what should i do so that i can get good job oppotunities after 4th year..... and can you just out the exams conducted for b tech eee students in 3rd or final year.........

to get a good job you must be prepared from the beginning of admission in an engineering college. in third year it is the important time to be prepared for job. to be prepared for job you should do following things-

first you should decide in which field you want to work. you are from EEE branch so you may work in electronics field or you may work in electrical field and also you may go for software field. even in electronics you have to think that in which part of electronics you will work like you may go for job in electronics device or you may go for embedded system. means there are so many branch in each side you must be specific that in which field you want to work. in third year just decide in broad sense. choose from electronics, electrical or software field.

now you must be prepared according to your interest of work field. you should do training on that and you should choose your optional subject in fourth year based on your field of interest. like if you want to work in software then try to do training on .NET or J2EE etc besides your college syllabus. if you want to work in core field then study core subject very well and do training from core industry after 3rd year.

now in job recruitment process there are generally three steps you must be prepared for these steps. steps are-
General Aptitude
Technical Aptitude
Interview(HR+Technical)

for some company there may be group discussion or anything else.you must be prepared for general aptitude. for maximum company there must be general aptitude. there may not be technical aptitude but general aptitude is must. to start any recruitment process you must clear the aptitude test. so you must be very strong in aptitude. it may seem that aptitude is very easy for you and you are thinking that you will clear aptitude test very easily. don't think in this way. in company recruitment process they give very less time and always remember you have very competitor. if you are good then they may be better. so don't give loose in this section. to be strong aptitude practice aptitude questions a lot. you may practice from the book by R S Agarwal. try to solve aptitude in less time. in aptitude try to cover different types of aptitude like verbal, quantitative, logical etc. third year is the vital time to be prepared for this part. because in fourth year you will not get so much time to be prepared for aptitude.so start practicing aptitude from third year.

now for job you must have some technical knowledge. for technical knowledge study the subject of your interest and in which field you want to work more attentively.do practical on that subject. also if possible try to choose project of fourth from that field.

at last you have to prepare for interview. try to give demo interview with your teacher or with your friend. try to find out your faults. try to improve your communication skill. you have to make you suitable for the industry so that easily you can get job.

these are all you must do to get job easily. third year is very important time don't wast any time on third year. be prepared for job very well.

You can go for higher studies like M.Tech

You can also do some short courses which will enhance your employment chances
