Wht i have to learn to clear the ota exam? How can i clear d test? What is d preparation standard

Hello Rahul,
If you want to join Indian Army for short service commission, you will have to write combined defense service exam conducted by UPSC.
The examination, apart from OTA, is also conducted for Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.
The officers training academy must be selected for candidates willing to service Indian Army on the basis of short service commission.

For admission to the officers training academy, you will have to write and qualify the following papers:

English -objective type
General Knowledge- objective type

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the exam, you must be a graduate.
The minimum eligible age is 19 years.
The maximum age limit is 25 years.

hi am student of MSc 1st semester and i want to join indian army for permanent not short service commission and my maths is weak infact so weak and for IMA u have to clear math paper also so how it possible that i join indian army in permanent please help me

Whether its OTA,NDA,.., the common mode of entry is through SSB five days interview. So prepare for that.

the OTA exams require good command on English and general knowledge. the exam is in two format first English and second is general knowledge.

what is the next schedule of next exam of short service commission

if any candidate want to join OTA but the candidate age is over i.e. more then 25 but less then 30 then what candidate can do if the candidate have interest on it ?

I am a girl, completed my graduation. I want to join in military academy.But i cant attend the SSB interview. So, have any other process to join in military academy not in the process of SSB interview?

Sir, a serving personnel in Indian Coastguard. Can I apply for OTA exams...???. If yes, Their is any relaxation for the armed forces personnel.
