First of all, I'm happy for you because you have already decided what to become in future. Now its bit simple for you to make path to reach your goal. As you are going to/or already completed 10th, Aspects that you have to look into before making a decision are as follows :- Till 10th you will have all subjects like ->Languages ->English ->Mathematics ->Sciences ->Social Studies. you have to make your decision about future based on your interested subject till 10th. As you're interested in social studies subjects i.e., History & Economics. Take up HEC stream in Intermediate after 10th. after completing 12th you can do courses like ->BBA ->B.A(Economics) ->B.A(History) etc., etc., according to your interest. I suggest you not to go for 4 years courses like engineering and all. because this will make your dream job(IAS Officer) to some more extension. Better to do a 3 years bachelors degree course and then start your preparation for Civil Service Exam immediately after attaining 21 years of age. This is a simple answer to your question."What to take after 10th" if you have any other further doubts regarding your career. drop a post in our forum. we will surely try to help to solve you out. Re: What should I take after passing 10th?
dear friend,
After 10th you have go for 12th and there you can choose any of the following three : 1. Science 2. Commerce 3. Arts Among them the stream science has the bright future compared to others. But if you want to become CA then please go for commerce. At first i tell you one thing that please select the jobs or occupation which you want to become. Then choose stream accordingly. Fixed your aim and go for it. Besides this after passing 10th you can get admitted directly to polytechnic college for diploma degree and then for LAT eaxm you can enter directly to B.Tech. There are so many option, I have mentioned only one.So Do your duty first i.e. choose what do you want and then go for it. all the best. |

Re: What should I take after passing 10th?
there is no way any one can tell which subject will be good for you without knowing any background information about and also what are your future plans ,hence there is no better person than you yourself to decide about it .There are unlimited options after 10th class some of the most prominent ones are science, commerce, arts, etc.
first thing what you have to do is to find in which subjects are you good in and in which subject are you really interested ,then you have to find what are the career options in that field and if you are interested then you can go for that subject ,for example 1.if you take commerce you can become chartered accountant 2.maths physics and chemistry you can become an engineer 3.for biology, physics and chemistry you can become doctor in this way you can decide which subjects are best for you |

Fist of all congratulations for having high ambition to become an IAS officer. You are now studying in 10th or you have passes the 10th class,it does not matter much. But your aim seems clear to achieve in your life.I think you know that IAS means Indian Administrative Service which can be achieved through union public service commission conducted by the union government once in a year every year.It is the topmost services in India & not impossible to achieve it. You are required to get 12th class degree & then to get graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university. You can choose either science,Arts or commerce stream in 12th class. But if you choose Arts with economics or history or commerse stream,it may be more benifial to get your aim rather easily.Ofcourse there are many students who got this services after B.Tech,MBBS,B.Sc.Ag,vetrinary science which were studied after science in math or biology in 12th course. So it depends upon your interest in your subjects.if you like to study math,do take this subject in 12th course either in commerce or in science stream. Thanks & good luck. chanchal... |
