What should be the minimum percentage in Science papers for getting admission in MBBS in AIIMS?
For taking admission in MBBS in AIIMS the overall percentage must be 50% or PCB combination must have 50%? Can any one clear my doubt? Further, what should be the minimum score in NEET? And, which are the other medical college and hospital in Delhi for MBBS?

For taking admission in AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) for pursuing MBBS degree course, the minimum education required is a Class 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with at least 60% aggregate in the mentioned subject from a recognised board of education. Marks relaxation of 10% is allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST category while for PWD category candidates it is 15%.
While, in the case of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test), the minimum marks in Class 12th must be 50% overall from a recognised board of education. Marks relaxation of 10% is allowed for reserved category candidates. For appearing in AIIMS MBBS, the candidate must have scored minimum 60% aggregate in PCB.
So, you are not eligible to appear for the examination, if your aggregate in the PCB is less than 50%. For more information visit at www.aiimsexam.org. |

AIIMS is India'a premier institute for MBBS and other medical courses.
The required minimum eligibility is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board with PCB as main paper and scored atleast 60% aggregate in PCB. So, candidates with less than 60% aggregate are not eligible to appear for the examination and for final selection. |

To be eligible for pursuing MBBS degree course from AIIMS, your overall aggregate in English and PCB group subjects must be at least 60% for general and OBC category while for SC/ST and PWD category candidates minimum aggregate must be at least 50% and 45% respectively.
Also, in the case of NEET, there is no minimum requirement of minimum marks in PCB group subjects instead there is requirement of at least 50% marks overall in the Class 12th. Marks relaxation of 10% is allowed for reserved category candidates. |
