Sir, I passed 12th this year but I failed in Physics theory. Can I apply for the Air Force exam of 'Y' group? Please tell me Sir as my score is above 50% and in English also is above 50%.

--> The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for Indian Air force Airmen Group Y recruitment are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 17 years to 21 years.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline with at least 50% marks overall from a recognised board. Also, you must have managed at least 50% marks in English as well in your Class 12th examination.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.

So, having completed your Class 12th with 50% marks but failing in Physics theory paper, you are eligible to apply for Airmen recruitment only if you are declared as a Pass candidate by your concerned board of examination even having failed in your Physics paper.
