In order to be an IPS officer, you need to appear for the UPSC civil services exam. Dear aspirant, The selection of best books will play a great role in deciding your rank. If you have a good collection of books then your preparation will be better. At the same time your hard work to finish the syllabus of optional subjects will play a great role in deciding your rank in the mains. IPS stands for Indian Police Service , there are some eligibility criteria to apply this exam : The candidates should be a Citizen of India. The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university. The age limit is 21 - 30 years There is a relaxation for OBC candidates. Hai,
IPS exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. There is no percentage restrictions to appear this exam. The candidate must be a citizen of india. Age criteria:- The age limits are 21 to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Selection procedure:- -->Civil services Preliminary examination, -->Civil services Mains examination, -->Personal interview. The acronym for IPS is Indian Police Services. UPSC conducts IPS examination every year. IPS examination is conducted by three processes are mentioned as below:- * Prelminary examination. * Mains examination. * Personal interview.
