i want to know that what type of syllabus we study for aurenotical engineering (electronics)...

for AFCAT exam questions will have from following types
1. Verbal Ability - Comprehension and English VOcabulary
2. Numerical Ability- numerical aptitude
3. Verbal Reasoning and
4. General Awareness

Air force common admission test is conducted by the Indian Air force twice in a year. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate as an officer in various branches of Indian Air force such as FLYING BRANCH, TECHNICAL BRANCH and GROUND DUTY BRANCH. In the Technical Branch only the engineering students are eligible or the equivalent degree holder.

The AFCAT examination is of 100 marks and you will get 3 marks for every correct answer and one mark is deducted for the every wrong attempt.
The syllabus of AFCAT examination is given below:


(a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment,
Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

(b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection,
Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.

(c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit
& loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

(d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial
Ability.

Candidates qualify in the AFCAT examination will be called for the SSB examination. The SSB examination is of 5 days and candidates who qualify the SSB examination will be called for the medical examination.

They mainly ask queations on aptitude,english and general studies, i have appeared during august 2011 i have got selected and now my intervie is sheduled on 12th March 2012 at Dehradun.My branch is ECE ,after attending 12March interview session i let you know what they ask in technical .
Subject from ehich question are asked are given on site of www.careerairforce.com

*Reasoning
*English
*General knowledge

Details of the AFCAT exam:-

1.Flying branch :-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have maths and physics in 12th..

Candidates age should be in between 19-23 years.

2.Technical branch:-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.

Age should be in between 18-28 years.

3.Ground duty branch:-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.

Age should be in between 20-27 years.

so wat are the questions asked in the technical round?
