SYLLABUS FOR AIIMS EXAM

Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIIMS exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.Also you must scoreed 50% in all above mention subjects.For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your minimum age should be 17 years old.The maximum age limit for AIIMS exam is 25 years old.

The duration of the exam is 3 1/2 hours. During this time you will need to attempt questions from areas like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and also General Knowledge. Biology will include both Botany and Zoology. There will be 60 questions each for the science subjects and 20 marks for the General Knowledge area. All questions will be multiple choice questions.

Eligibility For AIIMS :

The candidates with min of age 17 years
passed in 10+2 or equivalent exam with physics , chemistry & Biology from a recognized university
60% marks in average in chemistry , Biology , English & Physics

Exam Pattern for AIIMS :

The question paper consists of 200 multiple & reason assertive type questions
each one carrying one mark
each wrong answer shall be penalized with 1/3 marks
Duration :31/3hrs
Media of question paper : English , Hindi

Physics - 60 questions
Chemistry - 60 questions
Biology - 60 questions
General Knowledge - 20 questions

Cut off Marks for AIIMS Exam :

General - 50%
OBC - 45%
SC/ST - 40%
