Re: What is the syllabus of Maths Olympiad? What type of preparation is needed?
You cannot find any fixed syllabus for Maths Olympiad. The basic necessity is to have a good knowledge of mathematics. The usual syllabus is Geometry, Algebra, Coordinate geometry, Trigonometry, Permutations and combinations, etc. There will be questions from Probability theory and number theory, finite series and complex numbers, etc. The questions will depend on the standard that you are studying. Refer to previous years question papers and make a proper study plan.
