~~~ SYLLABUS FOR NET EXAM FOR ENGLISH SUBJECT ~~~

NET stands forNational Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.The exam is conducted once in June & once in December.

Those candidate have completed Masters Degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.Your masters degree marks must be above 55% .

For NET exam there is no age criteria but if you want to try JRF post then the maximum age limit is 28 years old.

I have attached the Question paper of and Syllabus for NET exam for English department so please check it out.

From this year NET conduct MCQ type question for PAPER I , II and III so you can prepare those pattern.

UGC conduct the NET exam twice a year,in the months of June and
December for Jrf and Lecturership.

Aspirant can apply online only from below link on UGC website--

To appear for net exam Post graduation degree is must in any subject with 55% from any recognised university.

Final year of post graduation candidate also can apply for net exam.

Age for jrf should be maximum 28 year.

There is no upper age limit for lecturership

Eligibility for NET:


-You have to pass your Master Degree with 55% of marks in any recognized university. And For SC/ST/PH/VH candidates minimum percentage is 50%.
-Your age is should not more than 28 years.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam conducted by the Union Grant Commission.

The exam will be conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) and also for eligibility into Lecture ship.

The candidate should completed the post graduation from any recognized university.

The candidate should have to score a minimum of 55% of marks in their post graduation course in order to be eligible for this exam.

Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for tech candidates of sc/st category.

AGE LIMIT:

There is no upper age limit for the candidate lecture ship.

The JRF candidate the age limit should be between 19 to 28 years.

The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without grace or rounding off) in Master’s Degree (or) equivalent examination from Universities/ Institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.
