Sir, I'm a Mechanical engineer and I am interested in Designing jobs. So, as a Mechanical engineer what designing should be need for girls mainly? And, everyone used to tell mechanical is waste for girls. Is it true?

Mechanical engineering is very good for girls. You may show interest on machine design and artificial intelligence. Those provide huge job opportunity.

Designing is one of the major specialization in mechanical engineering field.
Generally mechanical jobs consists of
1. Designing and analysis
2. Manufacturing and production
3. Quality engineering..Etc.
So as a mechanical engineer to become a design engineer one should have a good command on design and analysis softwares e.g.
1. AutoCAD
2. Solid works
3. Ansys
And good knowledge of engineering drawings apart from academic knowledge, which is must.
And regarding your last query, it's not totally waste, many girls are exceeding great in this field, the only thing is male to female ratio is more but if you have passion for the subject then no worries.
