I am 40 year old and I am Post Graduate in Computer Science with score of 81 percentage. Am I eligible for government jobs. I am also Post Graduate in Economics but got only 49 percent. What should I do? What type of government jobs can I expect?

As per the age criteria mentioned here there are only limited options of government jobs you have.
You are eligible for the post of lecturer as because there is no upper age limit required in this.
You have to clear UGC NET entrance test for this.
If you will complete B.Ed degree then you will be eligible to become a government school teacher. In this also there is no upper age limit required.
You need to clear TET, CET, BTET, UPTET and many more to become a government school teacher.

Yes, you are eligible for few government jobs such as lecturer post in government or private colleges.

To get job of a lecturer, you have to appear and qualify in NET entrance examination.

The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed master degree with minimum 55% there is no age limit to appear for examination.

If you belong to reserved category, there is option in some other sector such as PSC etc.
