What is the upper age criteria to be eligible for JMFC examination?
Hi, I have passed LLB degree with 62% in 2nd attempt but had cleared LLM in 1st attempt and presently I am 29 years old and belong to OBC category. Am I eligible for JMFC examination or not? Is there any age relaxation for OBC candidates?

Hello,
First of all for JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE FIRST TRACK COURT(JMFC) exam the basic eligibility criteria is the aspirants must have a Degree in Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) / Master of Laws (LL.M.) with 55% from any University recognized by the Central Government / State Government. This exam is conducted by state government. Also the applicant’s minimum age will be 21 years and maximum should be 35 years and age relaxation applies for reserved candidates as you belong to obc category so you have age relaxation. Apart from this the selection procedure includes first written exam and on clearing the written exam, personal interviews are conducted. All the Best ! |
