For those who wants to pursue MBA, CAT is the first word that comes to their mind because it is right now the most popular and at the same time the most toughest MBA entrance exam in India.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test and this exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management. Every year one of the IIM's conducts this exam and this year it is going to be conducted by IIM Indore.

The option of applying for this exam offline has been cancelled. The whole exam is conducted online and therefore the application too needs to be done online. Fee must be submitted through credit card, debit card or net banking.

There will be no window period as such this year and the examination will be conducted in two days. Thus the options has been narrowed down a bit. The exam this year is going to be conducted in 354 examination centers across 99 cities.

To give CAT exam you need to have at least a graduation degree. You need to have at least 50% of marks at graduation level to sit for this exam. There is five percent relaxation for the reserved category candidates. This exam can also be given by the final year candidates.

The official notification for this year's CAT Exam is not yet out. But here is the tentative date for this year's exam for you:-

• Applications are invited from- Aug 2015
• Students can download the admit cards from- Oct 2015 onwards
• CAT 2015 examination will be held- Nov 2015
• CAT 2015 results are expected to- Third week of December, 2015
