IBPS Clerical Notification will be publish in the month of June in the official website of IBPS as well as employment news paper.

Now IBPS PO examination notification was declared and it is available in the official website of IBPS.

IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and this examination is conducted twice in a year for recruitment of Probationary officer / Management Trainee in 19 Public Sector Banks.

Important dates :-

• Start date for Online Registration :- 09.03.12
• Last date for receipt of Online Registration :- 30.03.12
• Date of examination :- 17.06.12

IBPS Qualification :-

Age limits :-

The candidate age should be between 20 years and 30 years as on 01.01.12 and Upper age limits is given to the reserved categories.

Upper age limits :-

• SC/ST :- 5 years.
• OBC :- 3 years.
• Ex-Servicemen :- 5 years.

Education Qualification :-

The candidate need to completed graduate degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and there is no percentage bar required for this examination.

IBPS refers to INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONNEL SELECTION.This institute conducts Common Written Exams or CWE for various positions of banking sector.Total 19 Public sector and Nationalized banks are registered for these exams In which SBI group is not involved.

There are three types of Common Written Exams for Banks:
1. CWE clerk.
2. CWE for both PO/MT.
3. CWE Specialist Officer grade.

The institute will arrange these exams twice every year(may be in every six months), so we can expect the next exams on these months:

1. IBPS PO/MT CWE(last held on 18.09.2011): may be in the month of march of 2012.
2. IBPS Clerk CWE(last held in Nov. And December, 2011): may be in may, 2012.
3. IBPS Specialist Officer CWE(conducting first time): 11.03.2012. Last date for applying: 21.01.2012.

After passing the exam, candidates will become to apply directly for the personal interviews for these banks for one year(because IBPS will issue Score Cards to only to candidates who will pass the CWE and these Score Cards are valid for 1 years).
