CAT is Common Admission Test. CAT is an entrance test conducted every year for recruitment of candidates in MBA course. Through CAT one can get admission in top MBA institute like IIM & B-schools.


Eligibility Criteria for CAT Exam:

~You have to pass graduation course in any stream from UGC recognized school.

~You have to secure minimum of 50% Marks(45% for ST/SC candidates).

~Candidates having in final Year or having awaiting result can also apply.

~There is no Age bar for this entrance.



Important Notification for CAT exam:

CAT 2012

-Dates for CAT 2012 exam is not available/announced Yet

CAT 2011

-Availability of Application form: 17 August 2011

-Last date to apply: 4 October 2011

-Date of Exam: 22 October 2011, 18 November 2011

-Result announced: 11 January 2012

CAT exam is an entrance exam for MBA course , which is conducted by IIM's every year..

The CAT exam 2012 will be conducted during October to November month..

The date is yet to be announced..

The notification will comes out in the month of August..

So, get till then get prepare for the exam..
And try to crack the exam...
After qualifying in CAT exam you have to go through the interview session..
If you able to crack the interview then you will get a chance to take admission in MBA course..

The results of Common Aptitude Test 2011 (CAT) were declared in Jan, 2012.

The registration for that exam was going on from 17th Aug to 4th Oct. The test was going on from 22nd Oct to 18th Nov and the results declared on 11th Jan.

Roughly, you can expect the same pattern for CAT 2012 also.

So, watch for the announcement sometime in July August. Keep a watch on the website http://www.catiim.in/.
